We had a comfortable bedroom. Its location just close to a grand showpiece square was great and magnificent. Visiting restaurants and pubs close to the hotel was easy.

fontana was the perfect location, close to main sights and water bus stop, making exploring easy. staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. clean rooms and comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.

Coffee wasn't good.

Room furniture, no mini bar and no kettle in the room. The room was dark and uncomfortable, old furniture. Breakfast was scarce.

I would consider this hotel As quite pricey. But if you compare it with the rest of the hotels in Venice, it is definitely value for money. You are in the city centre. Perfect location! Just a 5 minute walk from the water bus station. Staff was friendly. But, all on all, awesome location! It is 10 minutes walk from the cathedral.

Excellent location - just a couple minutes from San Marco, but away from the hustle. 24 hour reception - very helpful and welcoming staff. Decent sized double room with en suite. Good breakfast (continental style). Sky TV in room. Lift to upper floors. Left luggage after check-out. A really relaxing place to stay.

One of the pillows was too hard... (English people have to have something to moan about, right?).

I had a great time staying at a hotel in Venice. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of town and the closest water bus stop. I loved being able to explore all the tourist sites without any hassle. The staff was friendly and helpful, always giving me tips on where to eat and what to see. My room was comfortable and clean, with a nice view of the city. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the 24hr desk service.

The noise from the nearby bar and school in the mornings was a bit disruptive.

All round excellent hotel. The staff were first class, very friendly and informative. The location was perfect for sightseeing and amenities. For the price & location the rooms were excellent too. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Very easy to find-2 minutes from San Zaccaria boat stop and 5 minutes from San Marco stop- located very close to Saint mark's Square-staff very helpful-lift to all floors-room clean and tidy-breakfast was typical continental fare and was fresh-would stay there again

Room 16 was a little small but nonetheless functional for a solo traveller

The location of this place was ideal, as it was only 100 meters away from a great dining option called Trattoria da Nico, and the famous Doge's palace was also nearby.

The staff at the hotel was very tourist friendly. The location is great to visit Venice because it is very central, yet away from the noise of the people on the streets. Very convenient vaporetto station at San Zaccaria, where you can take #1, or # 2 from the train station to the hotel or viceversa. The breakfast was plenty and very good!

The location could not have been better - just a few yards from the water bus stop, and a short walk to St Marks Square with the Basilica and the Doges Palace. Also, the helpfulness of the staff - everybody was very friendly and informative.

After 3 mornings, we were a little bored with breakfast, but this was only a very small problem. It was an adequate breakfast, including choice of cereal, rolls, croissants, cake, yoghurt, ham and cheese (slices) so not really complaining, but it was exactly the same every morning. Also, it was quite noisy in our room in the early morning, as we could hear everything the kitchen and reception staff were carrying out. these complaints are tiny compared to the good things about the hotel.
